Emblematic in this sense, his performance in Caterina va in città of Paolo Virzi, where she played a mediocre high school teacher and talkative.
Castellitto starred in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian the role of King Miraz, the antagonist of the young Caspian. The news is interesting is Castellitto has really lived in the town of Narni in Umbria, the ancient Romans of Narnia by CS Lewis which , the author of the novel that inspired the film, he took inspiration for the name of his work

interview

Stefania Rocca terms with my 40 years

comes the big comeback on TV. But most of all get a special birthday. What remains of the "arrogant kid" of the past? A splash of whimsical female who appears and disappears. and non volersi sposare.

half past 40 years and then in film and on television.

"At the beginning I lived with the suspect."

Now it's on top of its commitments, especially after the success of There's Something About Love. On March 13 we will see on Rai Uno in Edda Ciano and the Communist (From Marcello Sorgi and produced by Luca Barbareschi for Casanova Multimedia in collaboration with Rai Fiction). It tells the love between the daughter of Mussolini and former partisan Leonidas, in 1948, Lipari.

today count as ideological barriers as in the case of love?

Today everything is fine. And what's not good, goes equally for hypocrisy: the thing I hate most of Italy. At that time, however, with sharp ideas about good and evil, about winners and losers, that was a really shocking story and it took courage to live it. Or a great love. I read the letters of Edda: wonderful, written by a woman in love, other than the piece of ice control seen everything else. He was a split, often forced to do things they would not want to be like other people wanted it. Tired of war and tired of violence, somehow both defeated, they met.

Edda would have played twenty years ago?

Twenty years ago I would not be on TV. I was a kid presumptuous, very radical, very steeped in illusions about the film: shooting film, I thought of changing the world. Rebuffed TV, with the same arrogance that the actors performed in the theater to the cinema, seen as too commercial.

Now?

Now ... one hundred years have passed. Breathing time in which we live and are part of the world. There is nothing demeaning in the TV and then, to be honest, it is not flying so high that the cinema.

The game of 40 years provides a look back: over the rebellion?

That yes, but the restlessness remains. I'll an example. I did not want to get married for fear of becoming what you already are in reality: a woman with the same partner for six years and two children! However, not yet officially nothing makes me feel, naively, more free. I seem to not bowing to social rules: the degree to a certain age, then the wedding and finally the children.

Ten years ago, another show of crowns left Italy for Paris and stopped for a while 'to work.

I wanted to do something for me and think my job in a more detached. I was threatening to take me too seriously: I hate those who put it bluntly, basically we only of strolling players, no? French is a language that I've always liked so I decided to study it. Then, on the train to Paris, in January, with my two cats, not knowing how I would have found it alone, I rented a nell'appartamentino Bastille, I was panicked. Instead, think about it, I did very well, because from that moment I chose better films. The first was prepared in Paris in the role of the blind Do not Tell, by Cristina Comencini, then presented to the Venice Film Festival. And in Paris I lived until three years ago, when Leone was born. Carlo Capasa, my companion, was back and forth.

How did your story?

We knew each other since 1994, the days of Nirvana, my first major role. I began to get dressed in the clothes of his mark, Costume National. And a working relationship, very slowly and naturally, it has become something profound. Without needing too many words: it happened! I know I can trust him for ever.

If I asked you what binds you, puts the first place ...

The same energy in living things: trying to make them better, without pomposity. And maintaining the ability to laugh.

What effect does the fashion world, that of the man?

How different from the cinema! We, background, we live a little 'art of getting by. They, in 15-minute parade bring into play the work of a year. Before you know the company of Charles, knew it was a superficial environment, glitter and bubbles, and instead I found an incredible seriousness, the huge research work. But admit it, I do not understand anything.

you fight?

only stupid when I do the naughty girl, who occasionally takes. When I am too moody and self-centered.

And he?

Tiene hit by rocks man he is. Sometimes I wish it were more like me, the most instinctive and enthusiastic, but then I am sure that I would not like. It's nice that he rewards certain aspects of my character birds. But these are just empty words. The truth, the only one, is that we really love.

took to the streets on February 13?

No, but only because it was Sunday and I had no baby sitter. Why not emphasize is fine, but right now the dignity of women must be protected: there is a tendency that has led many to accept any compromise just to look and have money. Started long time ago and we are all responsible men and women. But on certain things, for example, the proposal to reopen the brothels, and I am keen about me indignant.

It condemns the prostitution?

hate those who are more realistic than the king. I do not condemn the escort, the choice is sacrosanct, but from there to defend the profession, it runs. There is an experiment that clarifies my thinking. Imagine that you have in front of a girl 13 years: what would you say?

What do you say? What

throw away the femininity is a sin. That making love with someone you love is the greatest thing in the world. That there are thousands of wonderful work to which a woman can aspire. Then, for heaven's sake, in some cases it may also be a choice.

Who are you referring?

Insomma, non voglio arrendermi, non accetto that is claimed to be prostitutes, it becomes a status to be proud of!

all of this that will tell her children when the time comes?

The same things I am saying to you, although I hope that incurable optimism then the world will be better. I'm glad to have two males: females are easier to us, even if I have other problems, there is bullying in schools and the relationship with the strength and power. I grew up with two sisters and four cousins \u200b\u200bin my family and I enjoy all male!

In his home, the women, when he understood the different dynamics between men and women?

early, but that does not help to avoid misunderstandings. Males are dynamic, impulsive and practical, the girls more reflective. You can keep him quiet in front of a drawing. Children are not there to keep them still, run, take the cars, the ball. And fall. There is always something with my cut medicare. The women fascinate me for their more psychologically complex: I like to tell to the movies.

In love better the similarities and differences?

The similarities do you approach, make everyday life easier, but if there are conflicts there can be no attraction, no mystery.

continue to see it on TV?

I like writing. I started when I was pregnant with Zeno. I had purchased the rights to a novel of 1960 Mary's Court, the time for all, the history of the conquest of Otranto by the Turks in 400. It is very current as told by the fear of difference and the expectation of democracy. If they have not done anything, but I do not give up: with other friends including Gabriele Salvatores' Nirvana that I had directed in many projects we have in the drawer. Film. But the TV does not scare me! After all, I have 40 years.

Starsky and Hutch

Starsky & Hutch is a series of seventies television , aired on U.S. network ABC between April 30 and May 15 1975 1979. In Italy
was broadcast on RAI 2 from 15 March 1979 on Thursday evening at 20.40, after it was passed on Mediaset, back in the summer of 2004 for a short period on Rai ( Rai 3 ). Since September 2008 she was again sent on a Italy, and finally in the 'autumn of 2010 was broadcast by Channel 4 .
The series, created by William Blinn , consists of 93 episodes, which includes 92 of the last 48 minutes and a pilot for 90 minutes.

History and actors
The protagonists are two cops very different in temperament and style of life but joined by a great friendship. Employed by the Ninth Police Station Los Angeles (California), the structure now known as "San Pedro Municipal Building" or "San Pedro's City Hall (638 S. Beacon Street). Much of the footage was shot in Los Angeles cited, and, in Century City, Venice Beach, Pico Boulevard, St. Beacon Stree, S Pedro.
David Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser ) is the policeman of the road, curls blacks and shamble, now in the police academy after a difficult childhood (he was in charge of his mother and younger brother after his father's murder) and the experience of war in Vietnam . Messy, disheveled, impulsive, eats only fast food in and is never separated by the automatism hidden under a brown leather jacket. Lovebirds are also light blue sneakers with white stripes Adidas (currently still on sale) that fits in the first episodes of the television seasons.
Hutchinson Kenneth "Ken Hutch (David Soul ) is instead the son of a farmer, and entered the Academy after having left school to college. Reserved, shy, intuitive, sometimes almost in spite of the powerful intellectual revolver "Colt Python, 357 Magnum caliber, wielding against criminals, macrobiotic diets and trains to stay in shape. In many episodes we see him driving a Ford Galaxie 500 in 1973.
Intrepid and cheerful, dressed in jeans , flared trousers and leather jackets, two police officers serving on board a Ford Gran Torino red with a white stripe on the sides, license plate 537 ONN, call radio code "Zebra 3". Pretty girls, drifting, spinning and grinding of brakes are worthy complement to any bet. There is one small detail: The same car Ford Gran Torino red with white stripe on the sides and without the plate had appeared in an episode entitled "Slot machine", the first series of the show Hazzard, and the wheel was just Cooter Davenport, played by Ben Jones . In the series have a role other two characters: the grumpy Captain Dobey (Bernie Hamilton ), that only the pilot episode is played by Richard Ward and, especially, the informant Huggy Bear (Antonio Fargas ) a bar owner in the slums and people are always aware of all the illicit traffic of the city.

A dub the voice of actor Paul Michael Glaser is Manlio De Angelis, while actor David Soul is voiced by Cesare Barbetti.
from The pilot - never dubbed in Italian - are extrapolated some images that will be used, and then with others, to create the opening credits of the episodes from all four television seasons.
During the filming, especially in scenes of high risk, both actors Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul, will be replaced by stunt doubles, respectively, by stuntman Charlie Picerni and Gary Epper. Among the curiosities
signals the opening scene of the episode "The Tiger of Omaha" (first season) which is the same that you see in the episode "The Seer" (second season).
The setting in the slums, the irony of the lyrics and the strong feeling of friendship between the two protagonists are the elements that contributed the most to the success of the series. As of the third season, the writers fell for the action scenes more emotional content because of growing concern about excessive violence on television, contributing to the rapid decline in popularity of the series. The subsequent decision by the actor Paul Michael Glaser to abandon filming on the fourth season, put an end to the popular series.

Film
In 2004 came out Starsky & Hutch, a remake of the film TV series directed by Todd Phillips with Ben Stiller (Starsky), Owen Wilson (Hutch) and Snoop Dogg (Huggy Bear). The film seems designed as a second pilot for the series (in fact part of the constitution of the couple "Starsky and Hutch"), but the content is much closer to the final season. In the end, a small cameo with the original Starsky and Hutch (Glaser and Soul) clones to young people who deliver the keys to a new Ford Gran Torino.

Edda, daughter of the leader

"A woman of great sensitivity, finally portrayed in a private setting, away from the spotlight of the social world and politics. With these words, Stefania Rocca describes Edda Mussolini Ciano, the beloved daughter of the leader, which she starred in the TV movie and the Communist Edda Ciano, on Sunday during prime time Raiuno. The drama, based on the book published in 2009 by journalist Marcello Sorgi, is set in 1946 and tells the love between Leonidas and Edda Bongiorno, a former supporter and leader of the Communist Party of Lipari. A passion blossomed a few months after the killing of Father Benito Mussolini and a year from her husband, Galeazzo Ciano: Edda had been exiled from Switzerland, where he had fled with her children, and sentenced to two years of confinement to the islands.

Ho letto numerosi libri su di lei e con il regista Graziano Diana, I watched several documentaries, which helped me get into character. When we were on set, though, I tried to give my interpretation of Edda, representing a woman who had the courage to compose himself, to rebuild.

From the film emerges as the image of the daughter of the leader?

is hard to say a priori. I would leave the public with the freedom to form opinions about fiction and Edda. Me, I repeat, is overwhelmingly positive.

This drama marks her return to TV. What are your plans?

I'm considering some proposals, the public will see me again soon ...

Claudio Ruffini Franco Franchi

Claudio Ruffini has participated as a stuntman and character actor in numerous films of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. His funny face and his massive physique, but with great agility, has made it one of the nicest gorilla-antagonists. Its typical role is indeed that of the henchman a little 'tontolone "often made by his own chief: emblematic in this regard are his characters in "The two superpiedi nearly flat" (a "Hello" addressed to Terence Hill who has just destroyed the car again cost him a slap on the head) and " even and odd. " But he also had the most influential personalities of the parties as the head pirate Kador in "Who finds a friend finds a treasure" and the official catch in "Even angels eat beans," roles with his usual hilarious and exuberant theatricality . Like many small players of that period he participated in some westerns in the seventies and several genre films of the decade, breaking his acting career in 1981. In the last years of his life, is in fact disappeared, has established his residence in France, La Roche.

"Franco Franchi was not a Sicilian, was the Sicilian. It was not a comedian, was funny. "
(Francis Ford Coppola)

pseudonym of Francis Benenato was an actor , comedian and singer Italian . With
Ciccio Ingrassia formed a pair of comedians entry in the history of cinema Italian : Franco e Ciccio
I genitori emigrarono in cerca di fortuna e lui restò a Palermo lavorando come artigiano , realizzando icone sacre sui marciapiedi, poi come garzone in pasticceria and porter at the station . Not lacking in such moments, propelled by poverty, was forced to petty theft.
Franks, luckily for him, was always attracted to acting and comedy, arts in which she was incredibly gifted. He was seen around the city as an auctioneer, playing the bass drum and adding elements of humor to his "performances", and this was an opportunity to be noticed by Salvatore Polara, a Neapolitan composer who in 1945 the inserted in his group: to Crawling. Franks received a salary of 6 pounds a week, a decent pay for the time. This young talented and eclectic
clownish realized musical concerts in the streets, squares and restaurants throughout the Sicily, the so-called stand, as well as comedy and entertainment for outdoor ceremonies as weddings and baptisms , employment of whom was born the His first character, "Ciccio Ferraù. Franks became a follower of famous people such as Toto , Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler . Its amazing facial gestures, still in its infancy, it was his showpiece, a source of curiosity in the audience and actors in some of theater, which took cues from him. He joined a circus
In 1948 , as handyman could not work there long. Franks also left the company Polara, which did not give him more stimulation and was again unemployed. He had some trouble with the law for petty theft and was arrested 1950. When he came out he went to work as a valet in northern Italy and was military to Bologna. On his return to Sicily , went on to become an actor. She met and married Irene Gallina They had two children: Maria Letizia and Massimo. Here you opened at the Golden Theatre in Palermo .

In the early fifties Franchi's life has a turning point. Francesco Ciccio Ingrassia said was an actor in a theatrical company and was regularly paid. Almost by accident the two men met on the streets of Palermo, and from there began a long collaboration, which would create a defined pair of gold for the highest revenue and the success that was in the audience. They released 132 films together. The numbers are concentrated in the sixties : one in 1960, six in 1961, seven in 1962 and 1963, only in 1964 he released twenty-two. All their work was highly appreciated by the public but almost always snubbed by critics: Franks, every time I read the negative comments of critics in the newspapers, remained very disappointed. In Their 1964 film grossed nearly 7 billion and 300 million (10% of the proceeds of Italian films in that year).

Alone
This is not to suggest that the relationship between Franco and Ciccio was stable: there were, and often live on television, sound quarrel between the two (historical remains in the brawl a program conducted by Raffaella Carra obviously live). Typically Ciccio Franco accused of megalomania , while Franco complained to his companion a certain arrogance. The greatest moment of crisis between the two occurred in the late sixties and early seventies .
During periods of separation from Ciccio, Franco went on to play the same kind of movies, such as parodies Last Tango in Zagarolo of Nando Cicero and Ku-Fu? From Sicily with fury (both 1973).

It also deals with political and militaristic satire in movies Sergeant Rompiglioni of Pier Giorgio Ferretti (always 1973) and Sergeant Rompiglioni become ... Corporal of Mariano Laurenti ( 1975), in which Franco does a perfect imitation of the German dictator Adolf Hitler .
He also made the singer and in 1970 took part in the 18th Festival of Canzone Napoletana , dove si aggiudicò il secondo posto con il brano di Matassa e Gallifuoco O divorzio, eseguito in abbinamento con Angela Luce .
Come cantante, incise anche la acronym (" Skateboard ") of a television program led by him, "Good evening with Franco Franchi " in the spring - summer of 1978, which had some success at the time.
The wall that had been created between him and fell in Ciccio 1974, when Ingrassia chose to interpret his film Paul the cold. There is in fact saying that, unlike Ciccio Franco never wanted to be a director, did not feel led to this role.

The reasons for success in the short period when he was alone, Franco literally broke, creating a superb play and mimic facial grimaces that were especially appreciated by youngsters. In a short time, Franco became the heir to Toto .

recent years
eighties Franco Franchi was a huge log: significantly reduced its presence to cinema and wanted to engage in drama or "high intellectual level." In 1984 appeared in Kaos, the Taviani Brothers , even in this case in tandem with Ciccio Ingrassia and in 1987 took part in Blue Tango by Alberto Bevilacqua , film based on a novel by the same director Parma.
In those years he worked for Fininvest with Ciccio. It is said that contacts between the duo and private television were propitiated by the admiration that Silvio Berlusconi felt for them. The critic Tatti Sanguineti, presentation of How inguaiammo Italian cinema, said that at that time Franco Berlusconi and collaborated in writing the lyrics of some songs, which would be used by the couple in some shows and then by the future prime minister, and Mariano Apicella .
c
The Maxi Trial "I was a hero of the children, now I'm a monster slam on the front page"
(Franco Franchi, 1989)
In 1989 , Giovanni Falcone's sent a notice of part of ' investigation which led to the so-called maxi trial c: Franco Franchi was accused of Mafia association . Among the accused (later convicted in 1999), also appeared Salvatore Lo Piccolo. Major newspapers, however, do not emphasize the topic. The Republic for example, reported the news on inside pages, in cutting down. Despite the acquittal, the plaintiff went very experienced. The long illness

In many hoped that Franco could finally play in the movie "caught" taking a good revenge against the critics. Instead, his health began to deteriorate slowly but surely. During the program
Grand Hotel, due to an illness of Ciccio, Franco had to work for five episodes with the actor Giampiero Ingrassia, Ciccio's son, who replaced his father until his return in recent episodes. In July
of 1992, in Naples, during the recording of the variety of vaudeville Raitre Franks is having to leave due to a heart attack with immediate hospitalization San Paolo. Ciccio was forced to work alone, although the duo had already made some sketches and then used for the program.
Narrano newspapers that the people of the "Bel Paese" learned the news of his death as if it were a deceased relative. At his funeral attended by thousands of people, all united in remembering that great genius of Franco.
"Now imagine being in a movie, the scene of the funeral of Franco, and suddenly the director says Stop!. Unfortunately this is not a movie. "
(Ciccio Ingrassia's funeral Franks, 1992)

to his memory (and that of Ciccio Ingrassia, who died in 2003 ) is dedicated to the movie How inguaiammo Italian cinema, shot in 2004 under the direction of Daniel Ciprì and Franco Maresco .

} {Tents & co} {

I have not spoken very often of tents & co in the blog, but it is a subject that I often discuss. In many ask me advice and are undecided what to do, and you are right, it is not as simple as it seems. And 'one of the decorative elements for excellence, with a tent in a different color, you can completely change the room. Playing on the imagination of the fabric, you can make an elegant, austere, modern country ... well, you can indulge in all directions. Not only tends, however, have an important role, even those who holds no less for less. My personal taste has made me fall in love with these curtain rods that I found Byron and Byron, one is the best, do not you?

Molto spesso nelle nostre case, riempono i cassetti e nothing, you now have more opportunity to dust off the trunks and give them new life. I regret not being able to report the name of the site where I saw that picture, but I will try to describe the curtain. This was done by so many mats round about the same size and sewn together with two small dots on the edges. Gave an effect I do not see very nice and special. Who knows maybe one day gather all my grandmother's doilies to make me a tent like this.

Thank you for the wonderful comments you left me in these two days. I'm really glad you like the picture with the butterfly. Someone asked me if the butterfly was a metal trivet. Yes, it is. I found a few months ago at the bottom of a drawer in the house of their grandparents ... but I do not remember How can I be absolutely finished bag! ;)

They start so early shows, based on the repertoire of traditional Roman songs (as Barcarolo Roman) and songs from pub (like the company of big eaters), and one evening to ' Intra's Club of Milan (in that period are hosted by Camilla Cederna ), were noticed by Walter Guertler , which puts them under contract and released their first 45 laps with the Jolly , a reworking of the popular song The society of big eaters.
Also in 1963 have their first experience on television, in the transmission of dreams The fair presented by Mike Bongiorno , where they sing the company of big eaters who, in the days following the appearance on television, selling one million seven hundred thousand copies, becoming one of the hymns of the youth of those years.

Il disco comunque è un successo, e la canzone viene reinterpretata da molti altri artisti (come I Camaleonti e Nada : questo spinge la RCA a pubblicare alla fine del 1969 l'album Gabriella Ferri , in cui canzoni più moderne si affiancano a brani della tradizione come Ciccio Formaggio; il disco è importante anche per il tentativo di creare una nuova canzone romanesca che si riallacci alla tradizione, ed emblematiche in this sense are fregnone Sor, written by Ferri on a music Vittorio Nocenzi (keyboardist of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso ) and Sinn me moro, a song written in 1961 by director Pietro Germi music by Carlo Rustichelli for the film Murder Rustichelli and sung by the daughter, Alida Chelli (Gabriella had already engraved in 1963 with Luisa De Sanctis).
Over the years, his physique, which had to be lean and thin, has been gradually strengthening and this new look is about her as a mother who holds Rome head (on TV in a broadcast that has become a cult, more times sent) to Claudio Villa : starlings, the two worst things are said and Gabriella comes out as the heir of a Roman general who is not only voice but also appearance.
Thus appropriates the songs, no matter old or new, that give her the chance to build some real numbers, almost like 'specks', but where there is no imitation of the old Neapolitan artists, but the filter an exuberant personality and irresistible: Where is so Zaza? that the war had been the symbol of Italy dissolved (Where is Zazà / Uh My Mother) was once again in its interpretation of a song full of malice and bitterness, and so had to Ciccio Formaggio old song sung by Nino Taranto . In the 70

Gabriella Ferri, and the mid-seventies was also conducted for the television variety Where is Zaza (1973), who took the title of the reason for success that had helped to raise the voices of the Circus (1974) and Mazzabubù (1975). After the experience of television

screenwriter

La script is a text intended to be shot or film, and then become a film . It is the first and fundamental step in the realization of all the films and television fiction. The writer is the ' author who writes it.

screenplay and the play
At first glance, a screenplay is not very different from a theatrical text . Even in the script shows the dialogues of the characters , with some indications of their intentions, and describes the actions and the environments in which they take place. Sometimes you can find in some scenarios even information on the movements that the camera should do, such as resume 'actor first floor (or close by enshrining only the face) or in the field long (ie from a distance). But it is more likely that these choices are left to the director .
a play can know a virtually unlimited number of representations very different from each other: two stagings of the same drama of Shakespeare can come to seem like two completely different stories. Instead from the same script to be made two different films is a fact that has almost never occurred. It is not hard to find in the library of scripts, for example, Woody Allen, Pedro Almodóvar or Quentin Tarantino , in addition to being directors are also writers, but it is hard to imagine them made by someone else.
The screenplay is a project, and the only value of the project, which will need to be developed and made the contribution of other languages. But like any project, contains the key elements that decreed the success or failure. History is a responsibility of the writer and without a good story is hard to make a good film.

scriptwriting
Scripts can be born of original ideas, or may be based on novels, dramas or even on other scripts. In each case, writing the script usually follows the following steps:
Idea
subject
treatment
lineup
script.
The subject is a clear and relatively short history (1-5 pages). Treatment is instead a narrative larger (around 30 pages) that may look like a literary novel, with descriptions of places, psychological motivations of characters and some indication di dialogo.
Nei film is sometimes also made a storyboard, a series of designs that anticipate some shots, as should appear on the screen. The storyboard is actually made by a designer, when the writer has presented the work and is probably writing something else. It is a practical tool that serves the director and producer to work better on September, prepare only what is actually framed, especially in highly complex scenes, it helps give an idea unique to all members of the crew (ie the of people present on the set) of how the scene should be.
A particular form of script is derived, which is a complete transcript of the film by film buffs and scholars normally. It has nothing to do with the film's production, but only with a possible critical analysis.

layouts scripts
In terms of formatting the page, there are three different models:

Italian screenplay screenplay screenplay
American French.
In the first model, the Italian, the text is divided into two parts longitudinally arranged: on the left there is the descriptive part, that the captions appear in the dialogues of the characters right, then as the page is divided into two columns. In addition, changing page every scene change.

The American writer, however, has both the captions that the dialogues in the central part of the paper, the labels will take up the whole width, while the dialogues are arranged in the center, built in a small margin.
The French model is summed up in a middle ground between the other two (top center providing a descriptive part and the lower right part with dialogue). However, it is the least used of the three. The screenplay
Italian is convenient because each scene changing page to the perusal of the script makes very simple: making it possible to aggregate the various scenes in the unity of place, so as to maximize the shooting. All movie scripts Italian Foreign '40s and the decades since then have this format.
Today, however, the most widely used layout is exactly what American, which offers better readability. There are special programs for the layout that make it easy for the American word, and are also able to calculate the duration in minutes of each scene and the entire script. In addition, the computer can do the job of counting automatically. In the American model
required font is Courier 12 point. The names of the characters and the headers of the scenes are written in all capital letters. In the header you need to write the place where the scene is set, when it occurs esterni (all'aria aperta) o in interni (in un qualunque ambiente chiuso) e alla luce di giorno oppure di notte.
(2) Lo schema grafico, the so-called layout, or how to introduce and arrange the different elements of the script (dialogue, scene headings, parentheticals, transitions, etc.)..
The modern layout of the script dates from the time of the birth of the first sound films. In the movie studios were then created separate units dedicated to the development of dialogue and the subject. These units were different from the point of view of the schematic of the elements introduced. To date, this helped the actors to distinguish between the spoken and the actions to be done. Even from the perspective of the layout of the European system is not uniform (see "Layout of the scripts": the Italian method, the French method).
(3) The typical grammar for the script, used by screenwriters. This grammar should be viewed in two ways:
(3.1.) Style 'protester' ('manifestation oriented style'), or the use of expression largely limited to present a clear and concise in what you can hear and see on the screen. However, this style leaves the writer the freedom to show a wide range of films.
(3.2.) Encryption, which is seen in the changes of the common conventions of narrative. For example, without interrupting the flow of the narrative, we stress the important objects or sound sources in-action; distinction is made between those who speak out of range (in off) and who has the role of the narrator, and so on.
In fact, the specific grammar of the script is used since there are scripts, but in the U.S. it has taken important when the writers were no longer guarantee to sell their work within the system of film studies. Now, to sell the script, the writer must use the style 'demonstrator', that is the 'manifestation oriented style' - which facilitates the transmission of the texture and attractive way in which it is told.
Given the different market conditions of the film, various countries in the format of the script has a priority differently in the potential customers.

Edda Ciano and the Communist

Story
Edda Ciano and the Communist

Un'inconfessabile passion between the Duce's daughter-in-exile on Lipari and a partisan
Paola Scaramozzino

"It 's party was a stroke of lightning even from a review read in the press even before the book came out," says Graziano Diana, director and writer along with Domenico and Stefano Marcocci Tomassetti of "Edda Ciano Communist and "based on the book by Marcello Sorgi (Rizzoli publisher). The TV-movie, produced by Multimedia Casanova Luca Barbareschi for Rai Fiction, will air one episode on March 13 Raiuno.
"This beautiful story of love discovered accidentally by Sorgi, I immediately felt my own and I was not alone. Even Stefania Rocca plays Edda (Greece), the protagonist, Alessandro Preziosi (Bongiorno Leonidas), wanted to buy the copyrights after reading it. The character belongs to it and it feels seeing her play. "

We are in September 1945 and Edda Ciano, Mussolini's daughter killed just five months before and wife of Galeazzo, who was shot more than a year, is brought to the border to Lipari. Edda is a woman still young but destroyed, depressed, alone and separated his children. On the island before she came back, Leonidas, leader of the Communist Liparoti that was partisan in France. Greeted with a big party by the islanders now exhausted by war, pouring on him the hopes of a revival. And Leonidas is being done. A fight broke out during a demonstration and Edda is saved by this man. The encounter was fatal for both.

Graziano Diana, she was born as a writer of many films for the cinema (it's in theaters these days: "The father and stranger "by Ricky Tognazzi, but remember, among the many" Canone inverso, "" The Commons "," Ultra ") and many dramas for television. Here also worked as a director for the second time, after the "Stolen Life" in 2008. It 's different to write for TV and why the transition from writing to camera?

"As for the script, no, I do not see much difference. I've written as a film that could run in cinemas. The only thing I insisted, going on TV, is that the film was broadcast in a single episode, because it is to see everything in one evening. The director? "The direction is proseguimento della scrittura” diceva Kubrick e io la penso davvero così.

E mi mostra un bellissimo libro di foto sul September Bepi made by Caroli when you seem to feel first hand the atmosphere of the times: the return of King Leonidas from the war with proven face Alessandro Preziosi, the arrival of Edda, Stefania Rocca, gaunt in a dark gray coat is essential. And then the people: the faces marked with the fishermen of Lipari, the faces of women and children that reflect the clear light of the place. And the places, angles of a sea of \u200b\u200bemotional beauty. The film is faithful to the story of Arise?

"Yes, quite. I wanted to present the story from the Leonidas, strong man who has studied and has a father, Don Eduardo, also a Fascist and a very thick Chiaramida played by Adrian, with whom clashes because of its passion for Edda.

"How can a communist loving daughter of the Duce? "Asks the son.

seem different but in truth the two are similar and we'll see. Leonidas can love Edda because his thought and ideology over the injury and she considers above all as a person. "

Edda in his fragile condition of "supervised special number 1" as she defines it, but really well for those times .... ".

"Yes, Edda drinks, smokes, wears the pants and be the first to" show your belly " wearing the two pieces to Lipari. A woman truly in love with Bayard, as he calls it, referring to the bay horse Orlando Furioso. "

. Why the love story told through letters to his beloved Edda, will not continue? For a fact or ideological ends because the passion?

"None of those reasons. In fact, the love between the two will never end but the events will be the end of exile and departure from Lipari in 1946 of her, out in the end. Edda's place is next to his children and that of Leonidas is on his island and not in high society. Having accompanied her on a journey to the North in order to put in the safe hands of her husband Ciano's diaries, you will leave. "

Awaiting the return of Leonidas on the island, there will be his future wife, the young Angelina, played by Dajana Roncione. Diana tells us that he learned from an heir of the family Cyan, nobody was aware of the love story between Leonidas and Edda. Only now, however, it became clear to whom it belonged to that drawing naked woman held for years in the cellar. E 'sketch made in pencil from Communist to his beloved. And it is the only memory Edda will bring with him leaving the island.
