Theory.
If we take an ordinary piano, we note that on the back are the audio outputs, which can be connected to the PC sound card with a standard 3.5 jack cable into the "Mic" or "Line". In this way, the audio (not MIDI) is made to float in the sound card that recognizes the same way that the microphone is detected.
